NATSAVE BANK AND NHIMA SIGN MOU
NATSAVE Bank and the National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at enabling customers to make their NHIMA contributions using any electronic gadget through the e-NHIMA platform.
NATSAVE CEO Mr. Malcolm Chabala said the best way of supporting the government's vision of empowering Zambians through financial inclusion is to identify viable partners such as SARO and SEED to work with the Bank.
Mr Chabala said the MOU will provide Clients with payment channels to remit contributions and transfer funds to NHIMA account using the real-time gross Settlement system.
Meanwhile, SARO Agro CEO Mr. Ashok Oza said SARO will provide products best suited for Zambian conditions.
And SEED Cooperative Union Vice Chairperson Florence Banda said SEED will make information on cooperatives and economic empowerment initiatives available to communities because the goal is to make the cooperatives movement the largest employer in Zambia.
The collaboration leveraged on NATSAVE's digital space to deliver financial inclusion while NHIMA managing the health insurance scheme for the benefit of Zambian people.
